DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-built financial analyses. You will verify three-statement linkages, assess DCF assumptions, and check working-capital logic, tracing numbers to their sources and exposing where the model diverges from sound finance.

You’ll write defensible analyses with honest assumptions and clearly stated drivers, producing numbers you could present to a CFO. This role is remote and project-based, with earnings linked to task complexity.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Fluency with modeling: three-statement builds, DCF, and the accounting behind them.
• Clear written English: explanations are the training signal.
• No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it.

Responsibilities

• Stress-test AI-built models on real corporate scenarios: three-statement linkages, DCF assumptions, and the working-capital logic underneath.
• Trace the reasoning to expose plugged numbers, broken drivers, and conclusions the model's own math doesn't support.
• Write the defensible analysis when the model falls short: honest assumptions, clear drivers, and a number you'd put in front of a CFO.
