Job summary

The Building People are seeking a Field Verification Technician to support a growing portfolio of federal, local, non-profit, and commercial customers while operating remotely. The role includes on-site meetings at government facilities and field data collection to verify compliance and documentation.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of project experience in infrastructure and facility assessments, familiarity with BUILDER/BRED, and strong data reporting skills. U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor preferred.
• Experience with federal/public sector projects preferred.
• Ability to work independently with strict schedule discipline.
• US Citizenship and ability to pass background checks.
• Strong data management and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend in-person meetings when remote participation is not possible, on short notice.
• Attend one meeting per week, and up to three meetings per week, onsite at government facilities.
• Accompany assessment vendor on site visits to validate compliance and data.
• Collect field data (inventory and inspection) to validate data against requirements.
• Compare collected data to uploaded data and note discrepancies for client reporting.
• Report assessment vendor discrepancies to client and Quality Assurance Lead.
• Provide reports and analyses as required by leadership.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Perform field work on-site in CONUS and OCONUS for 1–3 week trips.
