Job summary

BinSentry is seeking a conscientious, part-time Field Technician to install and service devices across multiple regions. You will drive to rural farm locations, disinfect gear, and install sensors and solar panels inside bins, often in 10–15 minutes per site.

Expected duties include basic troubleshooting, adhering to biosecurity rules, and maintaining mileage and timesheets. A high school diploma and heights certification are required, with English communication and customer-service mindset

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Working at heights certification with fall protection knowledge.
• Clean driving record and ability to drive 8–10 hours per day.
• Reliable smartphone with basic measurement abilities.
• Strong English communication and customer service mindset.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Travel to farms to install and service devices.
• Disinfect tires and boots, climb bins 10–40 ft, install sensor and small solar panel.
• Troubleshoot basic field device issues.
• Adhere to biosecurity rules at each farm location.
• Maintain mileage records and timesheets.
