Job summary

Drugscan is seeking a Field Specimen Phlebotomist Floater to cover multiple client sites remotely, with a preference to sit in New Jersey or Ohio. This role requires travel up to 90% and a 40-hour work week, typically weekdays, to collect and ship specimens and perform blood draws for drug testing.

You will greet patients, collect specimens, perform venipuncture, enter data, and ensure HIPAA compliance while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Graduation from a Phlebotomy Program.
• Ability to travel up to 90% of time.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and identifies them according to SOP.
• Obtains billing and testing information according to SOP.
• Collects urine and oral fluid specimens for drug testing.
• Performs blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Performs data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Packages and prepares specimens for shipping to testing locations.
• Performs customer service duties including phone inquiries and patient encounters.
• Collects patient payments according to SOP.
• Adheres to HIPAA and DrugScan compliance policies.
• Travels to multiple client sites as required.
