• Review Hip/Knee/Shoulder surgery cases for medical necessity.
• Communicate determinations with requesting physicians within regulatory timelines.
• Apply URAC/NCQA guidelines to ensure compliant utilization review.
• Support initial clinical reviewers and document communications timely.
