Job summary

Computer Aid, Inc. is seeking a Field Auditor 3 to perform financial and compliance audits, evaluate controls, and support improvements to accounting processes. This full-time, remote role requires travel within Indiana.

The ideal candidate has experience in government auditing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to prepare clear audit reports and recommendations. Only applicants eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship will be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience performing financial, accounting, or compliance audits.
• Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles, practices, methods, and procedures.
• Ability to analyze financial records and identify discrepancies or irregularities.
• Experience preparing clear, concise, and factual audit reports.
• Knowledge of accounting systems and electronic data processing applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit financial records and accounts for accuracy and controls.
• Review accounting records for compliance with policies and regulations.
• Prepare audit reports for supervisory review.
• Develop recommendations to improve accounting methods and controls.
• Conduct routine inventory and financial audits.
• Support development and implementation of new accounting procedures.
• Assist in investigations of irregularities in financial records.
• Analyze accounting and financial management issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
