Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to provide pre- and post-sales support for Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, and Farenhyt products. The role involves complex solution development, design guidance, and frequent collaboration with regional sales managers and partners.

Required NICET Level II certification with 3+ years in fire alarm design and a strong track record in technical presentations, training, and stakeholder management. Travel will be substantial, up to half the time.

Qualifications

• NICET Level II Fire Alarm Systems certification
• 3+ years of Fire Alarm System design, application and layout experience
• 3+ years of sales engineering, application engineering, or related technical experience
• 1+ year of hands-on experience with Fire-Lite and Silent Knight products
• Experience delivering technical presentations and customer training
• Proven ability to manage relationships with 25+ stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for Honeywell Fire SMB regional sales managers and customers.
• Educate and consult on Honeywell Fire-Lite, Silent Knight and Farenhyt systems.
• Assist with complex solution development, product selection and configuration guidance.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations and training sessions.
• Review system designs and BOMs for technical accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and support teams to address issues.
• Support sales opportunities with customer meetings and site assessments.
