Job summary

Scienion AG sucht einen technischen Supportmitarbeiter, der für die Schulung und Unterstützung von Kunden bei der Nutzung von SCIENION-Technologien verantwortlich ist. Die Rolle umfasst enge Zusammenarbeit mit internen Teams zur Verbesserung der Kundenerfahrung und erfordert eine starke wissenschaftliche Kommunikationsfähigkeit.

Der ideale Kandidat hat einen Bachelorabschluss in technischen oder naturwissenschaftlichen Bereichen, Erfahrung in kundenorientierten Positionen und ist bereit, häufig zu reisen.

Qualifications

• Hände-on Erfahrung mit Einzelzellprozessen, NGS oder Massenspektrometrie ist wünschenswert.
• Fähigkeit, komplexe Anwendungen einem breiten Publikum zu erklären.
• Erfahrung in einer kundenorientierten wissenschaftlichen Rolle.

Responsibilities

• Kunden Schulungen und technische Präsentationen durchführen.
• Erster wissenschaftlicher Ansprechpartner für technische Fragen.
• Unterstützung der Kunden mit technischer Dokumentation und Schulungsmaterialien.

Job description

Ihre Aufgaben

• Deliver customer training, technical presentations, and application guidance to support successful use of SCIENION technologies after installation.
• Serve as the primary scientific contact for application questions, troubleshooting, workflow optimization, and problem solving in the field.
• Support customers and internal teams with technical documentation, training materials, and accurate records of support activities.
• Collaborate closely with service, support, development, and commercial colleagues to relay customer feedback and improve customer experience.

Ihr Profil

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, biotechnology, microfluidics, materials science, analytical chemistry, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience in areas such as single cell processing, NGS, mass spectrometry, medical diagnostics, or biosensor development is highly desirable.
• Strong scientific communication and training skills, with the ability to explain complex applications to diverse customer audiences.
• Independent, proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with willingness to travel extensively and support customers across multiple countries.
• Experience in a customer‑facing scientific role such as applications support, field support, technical service, or customer training.
• Ability to work confidently across biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering topics.
• Fluent English required; additional European languages are a strong advantage.
• Commercial awareness and business understanding, while remaining focused on after‑sales support and customer success.
