Job summary

Nutrien is seeking an Sr Specialist, Regulatory to manage registration activities for agricultural fertilizer and plant nutrition products. The role requires navigating state registration requirements, label reviews, and ongoing compliance across multiple states.

You will collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Product Development, Legal, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing to support product launches and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Product Stewardship or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience registering fertilizer, bio stimulant, or soil amendment products in US agriculture.
• Strong knowledge of state fertilizer regulations and AAPFCO requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Initiate state registrations and ensure compliance with California, Washington, Oregon and other state requirements.
• Review product labels to ensure correct versions are registered and compliant.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary labeling/documentation updates.
• Maintain relationships with state regulatory authorities and manage registrations database.
• Oversee renewals and new submissions, including electronic filings.
• Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs, Product Development, Legal, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Sales and Marketing.
• Participate in industry associations to stay updated on regulatory changes.
• Document processes and SOPs; contribute to training and knowledge sharing.
• Support TELUS product information and registration statuses.
• Respond to inquiries on registrations and labeling as needed.
