Job summary

Nutrien is seeking an Sr Specialist, Regulatory - Fertilizer & Plant Nutrition to manage regulatory registrations across multiple states. You will coordinate state submissions, ensure label accuracy, and stay ahead of regulatory changes while supporting product life cycle management with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least six years of US agricultural regulatory experience, with a focus on fertilizer regulations and AAPFCO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Product Stewardship or related field is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in registration of fertilizer, bio stimulant, or soil amendment products in a US agricultural setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of state fertilizer regulations and AAPFCO requirements.

Responsibilities

• Initiate state registration tasks for designated product portfolios, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Participate in label reviews to ensure correct label versions are registered with states.
• Monitor state-specific regulatory changes, assess impacts to Nutrien products, and implement changes to maintain compliance.
• Maintain relationships with state regulatory authorities as primary contact for registrations.
• Manage state registration database with renewal dates and submission deadlines; oversee electronic submissions.
