Hagerty Consulting, Inc. seeks a FEMA Comprehensive Disaster Recovery Project Manager to provide critical advisory and strategic planning services for recovery clients and to lead a large, diverse team.

The role requires deep FEMA PA Program expertise, engagement with local governments, and the ability to guide complex, multi‑disciplinary efforts from recovery planning through grant closeout. This position may be remote with travel as needed, offering a challenging environment that values

Qualifications

• Experience supporting local governments through federal disaster grants.
• 4+ years in the FEMA PA Program (Permanent Work categories C-G).
• Proven ability to manage complex, dynamic projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication for policy and stakeholders.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory and strategic planning for recovery clients and lead a large team.
• Apply FEMA PA Program knowledge to address complex post-disaster needs.
• Ensure project management best practices and client visibility.
• Oversee cost recovery, infrastructure redevelopment, housing, and social services.
