Olsson is seeking a Project Structural Engineer to join our Federal Engineering and Design Team. You will lead structural design and coordination across a range of federal projects, from military installations to VA hospitals, delivering construction documents and ensuring code compliance.

You will collaborate with architects, civil, and MEP teams, apply UFC, IBC, ASCE, AISC standards, and support proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• PE or SE license required.
• 6+ years of structural design experience, ideally with federal clients.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and analysis tools.
• Familiarity with DoD, VA, and federal design standards.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead structural engineering efforts for vertical federal facilities.
• Perform detailed analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical/electrical teams, and stakeholders.
• Apply UFC, IBC, ASCE, AISC and federal codes.
• Support federal proposals and RFP responses.
• Mentor junior engineers and review work.
