Job summary

Aretum is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support federal acquisition and contract management activities, including requirement development, documentation, coordination, and tracking. The role involves working with internal stakeholders to support procurement, monitor actions, and provide reporting throughout the acquisition lifecycle.

Candidates may handle CUI and must comply with safeguarding and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree and 3–5 years supporting federal acquisition, contract management, procurement, PM or related discipline.
• Experience developing and managing acquisition requirements, SOWs, work packages and pre/post-award materials.
• Strong Excel skills with formulas, pivots, data tracking and reporting; Power BI is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to develop clear docs, status reports and exec materials.
• Ability to manage multiple acquisition actions, coordinate with diverse stakeholders and meet deadlines in a fast-paced federal environment.

Responsibilities

• Support CISA IT acquisition activities by developing and maintaining pre-award requirements, work packages, SOWs, acquisition strategies, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate requirements through internal review and approval processes, including procurement requests, financial workflows, and leadership reviews.
• Maintain acquisition planning tools, contract data, tracking logs, and SOPs, incorporating stakeholder feedback and identifying process improvements.
• Provide post-award support to CORs, including maintaining procurement packages, modification documentation, cost and schedule information, and contract tracking systems.
• Prepare clear, professional reports and status updates for stakeholders and leadership.
• Support contractor personnel suitability tracking and other operational reporting requirements.
