SMX seeks a Junior Federal Financial Business Analyst to join our client service delivery team. You will bridge financial management, business processes, data analytics, and technology to support federal stakeholders and drive data-driven decision making.

You will analyze processes, document requirements, and develop actionable insights while collaborating with designers, developers, and budget SMEs. This 100% remote role requires minimal travel and a Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in federal financial management, business process analysis, data analytics, or related consulting.
• Experience with federal government financial data and processes is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex financial data and processes to support decision making.
• Document requirements, workflows, and stakeholder needs.
• Facilitate workshops and translate data into actionable insights.
• Develop test plans and end-user documentation across the SDLC.
