Job summary

InEight is seeking a Federal Cloud Security Engineer to support regulated cloud environments, including FedRAMP-authorized and IRAP-assessed platforms hosted in Microsoft Azure. You will manage vulnerability remediation, monitor security events, and collaborate with engineers, auditors, and compliance stakeholders to uphold regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Five-plus years in IT, cyber security, cloud security, or related field.
• Three-plus years supporting FedRAMP/IRAP or government-regulated environments preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Manage vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts with Tenable and other tools.
• Support FedRAMP and IRAP Continuous Monitoring activities to maintain compliance.
• Monitor and respond to security events using Microsoft Defender/Sentinel and related tech.
• Assist with security assessments, audits, and annual compliance reviews; maintain documentation.
• Implement and maintain security controls and secure configurations in Azure/Azure Government.
