Job summary

Qualifications

• US Citizen, Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field; 6–8 years' experience welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ISSO supporting ATO, RMF, and continuous monitoring.
• Develop and maintain ATO artifacts (SSP, POA&M, SAR) aligned to NIST 800-53.
• Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs and federal standards.
• Support audits and assessments with evidence collection and remediation tracking.
• Own and operate Tenable/Nessus in air-gapped environments.
• Configure scan policies, credentials, and scan zones; manage offline updates.
• Execute credentialed, STIG, and port/discovery scans; ensure asset coverage.
• Translate findings into POA&M entries and drive remediation to closure.
• Maintain air-gapped security operations with manual updates.
• Monitor logs and alerts; support incident response lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Cloud/Network/Platform teams to harden baselines.
• Automate vulnerability management and reporting processes.
• Develop scripts to improve scanning and data parsing.
