Job summary

Goldbelt Glacier is seeking a Budget Execution Specialist to provide financial and budget execution support for federal facilities management programs. The role focuses on distribution, obligation, expenditure, reconciliation, tracking, and reporting of appropriated funds, coordinating with program managers, budget offices, and financial management stakeholders to support annual operating budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent federal financial experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with federal budget execution, reports, and financial management.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor budget activities involving obligations, expenditures, allocations, and fund distributions.
• Maintain operating and spend plans, and update financial tracking and reports.
• Monitor Undelivered Orders (UDO) and assist with reconciliation and closeout activities.
• Support contracts, agreements, and interagency funding actions within financial management.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports for leadership and management.
• Analyze budget execution data and provide recommendations to management.
• Coordinate with procurement, budget, finance, and program offices on funding actions.
• Support budget formulation and execution throughout the fiscal year.
• Ensure compliance with federal financial management policies and procedures.
