Job summary

DANE LLC seeks an experienced AI Subject Matter Expert to advise Federal clients on enterprise AI strategy and capability maturity, translating mission challenges into AI-enabled solutions.

The role requires 8+ years in AI or advanced analytics, familiarity with Generative AI, and the ability to navigate Federal policies, governance, and acquisition requirements. Flexible remote work options are available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in AI, analytics, or automation initiatives.
• Experience supporting Federal agencies or government programs.
• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts (LLMs, copilots, automation tools) and their business applications.
• Strong understanding of Federal operating environment, acquisition, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Public Trust or security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Advise Federal clients on enterprise AI strategy, roadmap development, and capability maturity.
• Identify and prioritize mission-aligned AI use cases (e.g., automation, decision support, citizen services).
• Support development of AI investment cases, business value frameworks, and implementation plans.
• Provide guidance on Responsible AI, governance, and compliance with Federal policies (OMB, NIST AI RMF).
• Translate agency mission challenges into AI-enabled solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to shape solution architectures and implementation approaches.
• Develop CONOPs, user stories, and functional requirements.
• Evaluate vendor solutions, tools, and platforms for Federal environments.
