Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is recruiting Full-Time Virtualist Primary Care Physicians to join the primary care team and improve access, continuity, quality, and efficiency of care. This remote care role uses telehealth platforms to deliver patient-centered medicine.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine.
• License to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to actively engage and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered medical care through telehealth platforms (video, phone, messaging, remote monitoring).
• Conduct virtual new patient intakes to onboard patients into CHA Primary Care.
• Provide inbox coverage, respond to nursing calls, and manage critical labs.
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients across diverse clinical conditions.
• Promote patient engagement and satisfaction through effective virtual communication.
• Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, care managers, and other health care team members.
