Job summary

Orionplacement is seeking a seasoned family law attorney for a remote role based in Wisconsin. The attorney will manage cases from intake to resolution, handling divorce, custody, and related matters with direct client interaction and strategic guidance.

The position requires 3+ years of family law experience, Wisconsin bar admission or eligibility, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and client service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of family law attorney experience.
• Strong experience handling divorce, custody, child support, and related domestic matters.
• Ability to manage cases with a high level of independence.
• Strong drafting, advocacy, and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage family law matters from intake through resolution.
• Handle divorce, custody, placement, child support, maintenance, paternity, and restraining order matters.
• Advise clients on legal strategy, risk, likely outcomes, and cost considerations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement documents, and related family law filings.
• Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and other proceedings.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively in contested matters.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and provide high-touch service.
• Work collaboratively with leadership and the broader team to support client outcomes.
• Meet a minimum billable expectation of 120 hours per month.
