Job summary

Confidential Careers seeks a skilled family law attorney to manage a caseload from a remote WA-based setting. The role offers a base salary of $120,000 per year with uncapped quarterly bonuses based on hours billed and paid deadlines.

Expect a calendar and admin support while you focus on client advocacy and courtroom practice across Western Washington. Work from home with core hours to accommodate Pacific time.

Qualifications

• J.D. and an active Washington State Bar license in good standing.
• Litigation experience: 1+ years in family law, or 4+ years in general litigation.
• Confident courtroom presence and strong legal writing.
• Self-direction to thrive in a remote setting.
• Empathy and ability to deliver hard news clearly and kindly.

Responsibilities

• Own a family law caseload: dissolutions, legal separations, parenting plans, child support, modifications, relocations, and protection orders.
• Draft pleadings, motions, declarations, discovery, parenting plans, settlement agreements, and final orders.
• Appear at hearings, mediations, conferences, and trials in superior courts across Western Washington (in person and remote).
• Build case strategy, evaluate settlements, and negotiate with opposing counsel.
• Be the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed and prepared.
• Track time in Clio and help shape the firm’s direction.
