Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Family Law in Arlington Heights, Illinois. The role offers flexible scheduling with remote work and occasional in-office visits, and provides meaningful litigation experience.

You will manage cases from intake through resolution, draft pleadings, and prepare settlement agreements while appearing in court by Zoom or in person. A JD and Illinois license are required, with at least 2 years of family‑law litigation experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of family law litigation experience.
• Ability to draft legal documents and manage cases independently.
• Prior courtroom experience in contested and evidentiary hearings and trials.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Prepare Marital Settlement Agreements and Allocation Judgments.
• Appear in court via Zoom and in-person for hearings and trials.
• Prepare Pre-Trial Memos, Witness Disclosures, and Exhibits.
• Manage cases from intake through resolution with client communication.
• Navigate county court portals and filing systems independently.
