Job summary

I2X Technologies seeks an External Audit Consultant to support a Washington, DC customer. The role is fully remote with periodic on-site work. Candidates should have extensive IT audit and security background, with strong experience in NIST 800, FISMA, and board policy alignment.

Essential requirements include US citizenship and a track record in developing audit documentation and compliance programs. Strong communication and project management skills are needed to operate in a matrix

Qualifications

• Assess and validate audit findings against policies and board standards.
• Crosswalk evidence to CISA and FedRAMP procedures and document results.
• Provide action plans to improve compliance and security practices.
• Document updates to compliance policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, maintain, and update the technology compliance program.
• Prepare for yearly FISMA audits and related internal reviews.
• Develop documents to support internal FISMA reviews.
• Design and implement audit mechanisms to detect non-compliance.

Skills
