Job summary

Infojini Inc is seeking an External IT Audit Consultant to support FISMA audits and independent verification and validation of policies and procedures in Washington, DC. The role requires extensive IT audit experience, knowledge of NIST 800-series controls, and CISSP/CISA certification as desirable credentials.

The contractor will coordinate with the Division of Information Technology to assess controls, develop remediation plans, and produce audit-ready documents.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of IT audit/security experience.
• Experience with FISMA, NIST 800 series, and regulatory compliance.
• CISA or CISSP certification strongly desired.
• Ability to manage multiple complex assignments in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, maintain, and update the technology compliance program.
• Prepare the organization for yearly FISMA audits.
• Develop documents in support of internal FISMA reviews.
• Develop solutions to minimize vulnerabilities.
• Provide weekly status reports documenting risks and progress.
• Design and implement audit mechanisms to detect non-compliance and support evidentiary evaluations.
• Create audit and monitoring reports as directed.
• Crosswalk evidence against CISA and FedRAMP standards and document results.
