Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking an Expert Witness Research Analyst to conduct Testimonial History and Party History research using court records and legal research tools, delivering clear and relevant results to clients. You will manage search requests and collaborate with teammates to meet quality and turnaround goals.

The role requires a JD, paralegal certification, or equivalent experience, strong US legal knowledge, and excellent written communication.

Qualifications

JD, paralegal certification, or equivalent education/experience demonstrating substantial legal research capability.
Working knowledge of the US court system and legal terminology.
Effective research, critical thinking, and written communication skills for accurate, detailed work.
Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Conduct research using internal and external resources to support Expert Witness requests.
Manage the life cycle of Expert Witness Search orders and ensure timely delivery.
Deliver clear, concise, accurate, and thorough communication to customers.
Apply established standards to the order management process and report customer feedback.
Cross-train and provide support across other research queues as needed.
