Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional, part of RELX, seeks an Expert Witness Research Analyst to conduct Testimonial History and Party History research using court records and legal research tools. You will manage search requests, communicate with customers, and collaborate with the team to meet quality and turnaround objectives.

This full-time role requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with 8 AM to 6 PM ET hours and mandatory training in the first three months.

Qualifications

• JD or paralegal certification or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience with US court system and legal terminology.
• Strong research, critical thinking, and written communication skills.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, Mon–Fri, to support a global organization.
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, internet research, and basic PC troubleshooting.
• Experience using AI-enabled legal research tools and ability to assess AI results for accuracy.
• Familiarity with Lexis Advance, Lexis+ or similar tools, and willingness to learn Party History Search.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Expert Witness Search using internal and external resources.
• Manage the life cycle of Expert Witness Search requests.
• Deliver clear, accurate, timely communication to customers.
• Apply established standards to the order management process.
• Represent the customer’s needs by reporting feedback and supporting issue resolution.
• Complete Testimonial History and Party History search orders accurately and within turnaround targets.
• Cross-train and provide support across other research queues as needed.
• Use AI-enabled tools within legal research workflows while validating results for accuracy.
