Job summary

Recursion is seeking an Executive Director, Asset Team Lead to shape the strategy for small molecule oncology and immunology assets. You will leverage advanced computational approaches and Recursion OS/ClinTech to differentiate assets and drive portfolio value.

You will collaborate across clinical development, BD, finance and platform teams to align resources with strategic priorities, delivering transformative medicines while advancing the company’s AI-driven drug discovery platform.

Qualifications

• PhD in life sciences or related field required.
• 10+ years biotech/pharma experience with asset-level strategic leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive asset strategy for small molecule clinical programs in oncology and immunology/inflammation.
• Translate Recursion OS and ClinTech insights into asset advantages for drug discovery and development.
• Develop and pressure-test the competitive narrative for portfolio assets, informing leadership decisions and partnerships.
• Partner with clinical development, BD, finance and platform teams to align resources with strategic conviction.
• Propagate the Recursion mindset by elevating how assets are advanced to reach patients.
