Job summary

SaidGig is seeking a remote independent BI contractor to apply advanced Excel and BI expertise to support AI model training through data analysis, reporting, and process improvements. This role focuses on turning real-world business questions and data into high-quality inputs for AI learning.

You will work autonomously from a remote setting, delivering detailed Excel reports, dashboards, and data workflows while ensuring accuracy, scalability, and clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on business intelligence or analytics experience, primarily focused on Excel.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including Power Query, PivotTables, VBA, data modeling, data analysis, reporting, visualization, and data cleaning and validation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex data insights to varied audiences.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing time and deliverables effectively.
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Use advanced Excel to structure, analyze, and present data for AI model training.
• Partner with the customer team to understand project objectives and deliver useful business intelligence solutions.
• Clean, prepare, and validate large datasets to maintain accuracy and integrity for AI-system use.
• Develop and document BI workflows and processes, communicating clearly in writing and verbally.
• Translate business questions and requirements into actionable data insights and input that supports model improvement.
• Create detailed Excel reports, dashboards, and visualizations for AI training initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to optimize and automate processes using Excel functions and add-ons.
