Job summary

Prep Network is seeking an Event Marketing Intern to support our tournament season by managing pre/post-event communications, creating social content, and helping grow our participant database. You will collaborate with Marketing Leads, coordinate with freelance media teams, and engage with players, parents, and coaches nationwide.

This role offers resume-ready sports marketing experience with flexible remote or HQ-based work and a pathway toward full-time opportunities as the season progresses.

Qualifications

• Currently a Junior or Senior in College, ready to apply classroom concepts to real-world operations.
• Pursuing a relevant degree in Sports Management, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• Social media experience with Instagram, TikTok, and X.
• Ability to take direction and work autonomously, especially in remote settings.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Tech-savvy with Google Workspace, Slack, and Asana.
• Organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication for copy creation.

Responsibilities

• Event Communication: craft pre- and post-event emails and messages.
• Social Media: create and post engaging content on Instagram, TikTok, and X.
• Response & Follow-Up: provide prompt support via email and text.
• Database Growth: collect and organize contacts for players, parents, and teams.
• Freelance Hire Management: assist with recruiting and coordinating media staff.
