Thimble Alterations, a network of independent alteration professionals, seeks specialists in evening and cocktail wear. You will alter gowns, dresses, and gala wear, handling hems, bodice tweaks, zippers, and related details.

You will take accurate measurements, conduct fittings, communicate timelines clearly, and deliver high-quality finishing while maintaining an organized workspace. This remote contractor role offers flexible scheduling and platform-sourced client requests.

Formación

• Experience with women's formalwear and/or evening wear alterations.
• Strong garment construction knowledge with precision measuring.
• Machine and hand sewing proficiency.
• Professional communication and customer service.

Responsabilidades

• Alter evening gowns, cocktail dresses, and gala/black-tie dresses (hemming, bodice/waist, straps, cups, zippers).
• Work with structured formal dresses (multiple layers, lace, beading, sequins, linings).
• Conduct fittings, take precise measurements, and communicate timelines clearly.
• Deliver high-quality finishing and maintain an organized workspace suitable for fittings.
• Handle requests for wedding dresses, prom dresses, bridesmaid dresses, suits, and other formalwear.
