The ideal candidates will have strong knowledge in garment construction and sewing, along with excellent communication skills to ensure a positive customer experience. This is an independent contractor position that offers work-from-home flexibility and local client requests.

Qualifications

• Experience with women’s formalwear and/or evening wear alterations.
• Strong garment construction knowledge and precision measuring.
• Proficiency in machine and hand sewing.
• Ability to communicate professionally and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Alter evening gowns, cocktail dresses, and gala/black‑tie dresses.
• Conduct fittings and take detailed measurements.
• Deliver high-quality finishing and maintain workspace during fittings.
