Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Estimating & Design Lead to convert site plans and project requirements into accurate landscaping estimates and compelling proposals. You will support a fast-moving business development team with hands-on landscape expertise, working remotely with US stakeholders.

Most proposals are delivered within 72 hours, blending technical insight with commercial acumen to win profitable work.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years hands-on landscaping or related green-space experience.
Ability to interpret site plans, specs, and photos into practical scope and cost.
Professional-level English for US stakeholder communication during core hours.
Comfortable working remotely with cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of landscape materials, plant selection, labor, equipment, and timelines.
Analytical and detail-oriented with practical estimating skills.
Ability to meet tight proposal turnaround times (≈72 hours).
Background in architecture, landscape architecture, or design is a plus.
Experience with commercial landscaping or maintenance contracts is desirable.

Responsibilities

Review site plans and project requirements to define landscaping scope.
Develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and timelines.
Convert requests into client-ready proposals with fast turnaround.
Track estimates through the pipeline using the CRM.
Provide landscape and design input to proposals, including plant layout details.
Identify gaps or inconsistencies in proposed scopes and flag issues.
Collaborate with sales, estimators, and field leadership to align estimating with operations.
Prepare for site visits by gathering historical scopes, photos, and notes.
Maintain up-to-date CRM records of estimating activity and opportunities.
Contribute to a performance-driven culture with focus on profitable work.
