Job summary

#twiceasnice Recruiting is seeking a Technical Product Developer for a remote Canada-based role in the ERP/Accounting software domain. You will own features from concept through delivery, translating customer needs into designs, writing and testing code, deploying enhancements, and supporting production systems.

The ideal candidate has recent ERP, finance software experience, including GL, AP/AR, billing, inventory, and reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering and/or product engineering experience.
• Recent ERP, finance, or accounting software development domain knowledge.
• Cloud-native application development experience is required.
• Strong back-end development in a mainstream language; C#/.NET preferred.
• Experience using AI tools daily to support software engineering and testing.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases is required.

Responsibilities

• Own product features from concept through deployment and ongoing production support
• Collaborate with customers & cross-functional teams to develop ERP and financial software solutions
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-native and legacy ERP applications
• Learn, support, and modernize the legacy ERP platform through refactoring and new functionality
• Apply ERP, finance, and accounting domain knowledge when designing features and business logic
• Utilize AI tools daily to accelerate software development, testing, and modernization efforts
• Support build, deployment, release, and upgrade processes for legacy and modern platforms
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues within production environments
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with teammates to deliver intuitive, reliable, and scalable software solutions
