Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an IT Specialty Analyst for Epic Inpatient to support, optimize, and advance Epic Inpatient clinical applications remotely. You will partner with clinicians and operational teams to understand needs, build workflows, and ensure patient care and safety are enhanced.

The role requires 3+ years of Epic Inpatient experience, Epic certifications, and strong testing/incident management skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Epic Inpatient experience in a healthcare environment
• Certification in Epic Inpatient Clinical Documentation and Epic Inpatient Clinical Orders is preferred/required

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and optimization of Epic Inpatient clinical applications
• Analyze inpatient workflows to identify optimization opportunities
• Partner with clinicians and operational teams to translate needs into Epic solutions
• Develop and execute system test plans for Epic upgrades and enhancements
• Manage incident and change management processes for inpatient systems
• Provide on-call support for inpatient application issues
