Job summary

Deloitte’s AI & Engineering team seeks a Denials Management Coordinator to support denial review, appeals, and payer communications within hospital billing processes. Primary responsibility is to analyze denials, prepare templates for appeals, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues across Epic Resolute Hospital Billing and payer portals.

The role requires 1+ years in hospital denial management, experience with Epic Resolute, and a healthcare/business background.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in hospital account denial management and appeals.
• Experience using Epic Resolute Hospital Billing.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, healthcare, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• Experience working in claims clearinghouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Review denials (835/277) and determine denial responses.
• Develop denial appeal letters and submit to payers.
• Rebill corrected claims and route issues to relevant teams.
• Document denial details and follow-up activities in EMR and patient accounting systems.
• Follow up with payers on open denials and adjudicate claims.
