Description: Certification in Epic ClinDoc preferred. This position allows for work from home/remote opportunity.

POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for providing primary support and contact for each application. Coordinates all issues during the project for assigned application areas, providing subject matter expertise and comprehensive knowledge of Trinity Health's policies, procedures, and business operations. Works directly with customers and develops best practice workflows based on decisions from system decision-making groups, translating this information into the application build. Collaborates with other Epic Application Coordinators, Project Managers, Trainers, and Application Managers.

Essential Functions
  • Demonstrates Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
  • Establishes priorities aligned with organizational initiatives, manages multiple projects, and adapts to changing priorities.
  • Consults with providers, clinicians, executives, and management to support decisions, workflows, and initiatives.
  • Analyzes data to support programs and projects, communicating findings effectively.
  • Provides guidance on system integration, architecture, selection, strategy, and clinical system implementations.
  • Researches and contributes to timing and planning of new functionalities and upgrades.
  • Recommends innovative application solutions for workflow, safety, productivity, and financial issues.
  • Leads application integration decisions impacting multiple units and assists in design and documentation.
  • Analyzes and reengineers business processes for improvement.
  • Prepares project work plans and status reports.
  • Collaborates on best practice workflows, order sets, forms, and decision support tools.
  • Uses performance improvement methodologies and change management strategies.
  • Participates in functional groups for design, implementation, and reporting decisions.
  • Models teamwork and operates in a collaborative environment.
  • Manages multiple projects, adapts to priorities, and pursues professional growth.
  • Uses support staff effectively and adopts new tools.
  • Maintains knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience as a subject matter expert, specialist, or consultant.
  • Ability to learn Epic software and obtain certification within 3-6 months.
  • 3-5 years experience in performance/business process improvement or IT systems.
  • Familiarity with information systems and clinical software.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
Physical and Mental Requirements

Office environment, frequent communication, manual dexterity, concentration, ability to work on multiple projects, and travel as needed.
