Job summary

Haley & Aldrich in the Tampa area seeks an experienced professional to manage environmental site characterization and remediation projects for Energy, Industrial/Manufacturing, and Real Estate clients. You will lead scoping, scheduling, budgeting, and safety, coordinating with regulators and clients on complex projects.

The role requires 8+ years of related experience, licensure as applicable, and strong communication and leadership skills suitable for a senior environmental project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of related experience.
• Professional registration or certification, as applicable.
• P.G. or P.E. license required for geologists or engineers, as applicable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently lead project teams to achieve project and client goals and objectives.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and financial acumen.
• Proficient computer literacy including Microsoft Office 365 and ability to learn diverse project software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of project teams with a focus on project delivery, quality, financial performance, and health and safety.
• Ensure projects meet project, client, and regulatory objectives.
• Lead all aspects of the project life cycle including cost estimating, scheduling, subcontracting, resourcing, and financial management.
• Collaborate with project team, supporting field teams, and oversight of health and safety processes.
• Communicate with clients, partners, subcontractors, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor staff to transfer knowledge and ensure quality deliverables.
• Plan and manage field investigations and data collection programs.
• Lead technical assessments and design efforts, including remedial actions and permitting.
