Job summary

Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Project Manager/Environmental Engineer/Geologist/Scientist to support environmental site characterization and remediation projects in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This full-time role can be remote in or near Tampa, FL, with responsibilities spanning scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety across Energy, Industrial/ Manufacturing, and Real Estate clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of related experience.
Professional registration or certification, as applicable.
P.G. or P.E. license required for geologists or engineers, as applicable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to independently lead project teams to achieve project and client goals and objectives.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and financial acumen.
Proficient computer literacy including MS Office 365 and related software for project needs.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day management of project teams with a focus on project delivery, quality, financial performance, and health and safety.
Ensure projects meet project, client, and regulatory objectives.
Lead all aspects of the project life cycle including cost estimating, scheduling, subcontracting, resourcing, planning, execution, documentation, and financial management.
Collaborate with project team, support field teams, provide oversight, and observe health and safety procedures.
Communicate with clients, partners, subcontractors, regulators and other stakeholders.
Coach, mentor, and support staff for knowledge transfer and high-quality deliverables.
Plan and manage field investigations, including pre-design data collection and pilot testing programs.
Lead project technical assessments and design efforts, including model development and remediation plans.
Plan work in accordance with health and safety protocols.
Demonstrate the company’s foundational safety behaviors.
Evaluate site characterization data and develop concepts/models with team members.
Lead teams in evaluating geologic data and project goals.
Manage site characterization and remediation projects for various clients.
