Job summary

NAVFAC NORTHWEST seeks an Environmental Engineer/Physical Scientist to join the Environmental Division. You will provide engineering support and technical expertise for environmental media programs, collaborating across teams.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering (ABET-accredited preferred) and eligibility for professional registration. This position is telework eligible, with a posted salary range of $119,630–$155,521 per year and a Secret clearance; deadline 2026-11-12.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required (OPM standard).
• Program must be ABET-accredited or include key calculus/engineering science courses.
• Professional registration/licensure or FE examination eligibility is acceptable for qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental engineering support and technical expertise for environmental media programs.
• Lead and assist colleagues in managing environmental engineering tasks within NAVFAC NW.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
