Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region Five is seeking an Environmental Protection Specialist to support the Mitigation Division. The role involves ensuring compliance with NEPA, ESA, NHPA, and related executive orders, and preparing complex environmental and historic preservation documents.

You will coordinate consultations with local, state, federal agencies and tribes, manage project workloads and provide guidance on compliance requirements to internal and external partners.

Formación

• Education substitution allows qualification by education or a combination of education and experience.
• Submit your transcripts (unofficial acceptable) with your online application.
• Official college transcripts must be provided prior to appointment.
• Foreign education must be comparable to U.S. institutions recognized by accrediting bodies.

• Prepare environmental and historic preservation compliance documents.
• Coordinate informal and formal consultations with local, state, federal, and tribal entities.
