Versique Executive, Professional, & Interim Recruiting seeks an experienced Data Architect to define and evolve enterprise data architecture enabling trusted, scalable, and governed data across the organization.

Initial 1-2 months in Eau Claire, WI, with transition to remote. Salary $140,000-$190,000 DOE. You will lead data models, integrations, and governance while partnering with business and technology leaders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, or enterprise architecture.
• 3+ years designing enterprise-scale data architecture.
• Strong expertise in data modeling, data integration, data warehousing, and cloud data platforms.
• Experience in complex, regulated enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of data governance, MDM, and modern analytics ecosystems.
• Excellent communication skills bridging business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise data architecture, standards, and data models aligned with business strategy.
• Design scalable data platforms and integration patterns across cloud, SaaS, and on‑premises environments.
• Lead data governance initiatives including data quality, lineage, metadata, and master data management.
• Partner with architecture, engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure secure, accessible enterprise data.
• Provide architectural oversight for enterprise data initiatives while mentoring technical teams.
