Job summary

System One is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to lead data conversion efforts for the IRS EDOS modernization project. You will drive the design of conversion plans, validate data integrity, and coordinate testing to ensure timely migration.

The role requires senior-level expertise in big data technologies, data warehouse/lake patterns, and strong communication with stakeholders, with United States citizenship and an active IRS Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of overall experience.
• US Citizenship required.
• Active IRS MBI Clearance and current GFE.
• Led or participated in Data Architecture Strategy and Roadmap engagements.
• Experience with Big Data tech (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, NoSQL) and data patterns (data warehouse, data lake, streaming, Lambda/Kappa).
• Excellent oral and written communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience on Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead large data conversion efforts transforming legacy models to the new system.
• Design data conversion and validation plans and lead testing to ensure integrity and timely conversion.
