Job summary

CTG is hiring a Business Architect for a 6‑month engagement in Buffalo, NY (preferred onsite with remote options). Travel to Buffalo every 4–6 weeks is required as part of onsite collaboration.

You will define and evolve enterprise business architectures, translate strategy into capability maps and roadmaps, and collaborate with executives and architecture teams to drive transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in business architecture, enterprise strategy, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience developing business architecture artifacts such as capability maps and value streams.
• Strong strategic thinking, systems thinking, and enterprise analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, especially with executive stakeholders.
• Ability to work remotely while traveling to Buffalo, NY every 4–6 weeks for onsite collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise business architecture to align strategy, operating models, and execution.
• Translate strategy into capability models, value streams, target-state architectures, and roadmaps.
• Develop and maintain business capability maps, value stream maps, and operating models.
• Define current-state and target-state architectures and identify gaps; prioritize investments.
• Collaborate with executives, product teams, Enterprise/Data/Solution Architecture, and delivery teams.
• Produce executive-ready models, roadmaps, and strategic artifacts.
• Support portfolio planning, initiative prioritization, and business case development.
