Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience or Technical Degree preferred.
• 0-3 years of related experience.
• Advanced skills required in MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Access.
• Performs work under direct supervision.
• Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Review claims for irregularities, accuracy and completeness.
• Request additional information as needed for claim processing.
• Review claims for eligibility and maintain updated records.
• Prepare required reports and assist in claims cost control.
• Contact individuals about claims and provide counsel regarding benefits.
