Job summary

SCAN is a nonprofit health organization seeking an Enrollment Reconciliation Specialist - SCAN Temp to review claims for irregularities, accuracy and completeness. You will request information, verify eligibility, maintain records and support cost control while advancing SCAN’s mission to improve care for older adults.

This temporary role is mostly remote, offers a pay range of $21.00–$23.00 per hour, plus medical benefits, paid sick time, a 401(k) plan and active employee recognition.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree or Technical Degree preferred.
• 0-3 years of related experience.
• Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Access).

Responsibilities

• Requests additional information, when necessary, for completion of claim processing.
• Reviews claims for eligibility.
• Maintains updated records and prepares required reports.
• Assists in claims cost control.
• Contacts individuals about claims and may provide counsel regarding the amount of benefits.
• Actively support the achievement of SCAN’s Vision and Goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Job

The Enrollment Reconciliation Specialist - SCAN Temp reviews claims for irregularities, accuracy and completeness.

You Will

Your Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's Degree or equivalent experience or Technical Degree preferred.
• 0-3 years of related experience
• Advanced skills required in MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Access
• Performs work under direct supervision .
• Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff .
• Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter
• Communication - Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
