Varsity Tutors is seeking Texas-certified teachers for our Live Learning Platform to deliver online 1-on-1 tutoring from home. Join a flexible, remote environment with a schedule you set and earn competitive rates while making a real impact on students nationwide.

Earn up to $40/hour with payments issued up to twice per week. Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform, matching with students and benefiting from AI Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Teaching Certificate required.
• Deep knowledge in your certified subject area(s) and ability to connect K-12 concepts to student needs.
• Strong understanding of TEKS standards and how to apply them in one-on-one instruction.
• Ability to diagnose gaps, adjust pacing, and explain concepts using multiple methods.
• Excellent communication and engaging teaching style.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students.
• Diagnose gaps and adapt pacing/instruction to meet student needs.
• Deliver TEKS-aligned instruction in a virtual setting.
