Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in design/analysis/implementation of energy storage systems (Li-ion, flow batteries).
• Strong understanding of power electronics, inverters, converters, and grid interconnection requirements.
• Proficiency with energy modeling software and simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, PSS/E, ESS modeling tools).
• Knowledge of battery management systems (BMS) and energy management systems (EMS).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong written and verbal communication; able to collaborate remotely.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect energy storage systems including battery selection, power conversion, and control strategies.
• Model and simulate systems to optimize performance, efficiency, and lifespan.
• Analyze system performance data to identify improvements and troubleshoot.
• Develop technical specs, datasheets, and integration plans for storage projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the design, analysis, or implementation of energy storage systems (e.g., Li-ion batteries, flow batteries).
• Strong understanding of power electronics, inverters, converters, and grid interconnection requirements.
• Proficiency in energy modeling software and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, PSS/E, dedicated ESS modeling tools).
• Knowledge of battery management systems (BMS) and energy management systems (EMS).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, suitable for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, UL).
