Job summary

Sungrow seeks a Technical Solution Engineer Intern for the Eastern US to deliver technical solutions for ESS projects during pre-sale and execution phases. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and HQ resources, develop proposals, design support, and respond to customer needs.

Travel up to 50% and occasional site visits are required. Candidates should have 3+ years in renewables, strong battery system knowledge, and experience with AutoCAD or similar tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in the renewable industry.
• Direct experience in Product/System Engineering, Application Engineering, Project Engineering, or similar roles is a strong plus.
• Power electronics/battery system knowledge and thermal management experience desired.
• Thorough understanding of local jurisdiction requirements and safety codes (UL9540/A, NFPA, NEC).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze ESS project RFPs, intake forms, specifications, and customer requests to determine technical delivery requirements.
• Work with Sales and Engineering to generate technical proposals and provide overall technical solutions to customers.
• Collaborate with HQ to support project engineering during execution (BOS design, 3rd party studies, EPC design).
• Be a technical liaison for Sales, customers, and internal teams to ensure alignment.
• Develop and refine technical specs and drawings; manage technical portals and documentation.
