This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa, with occasional travel to Upington, Northern Cape for essential client meetings or site visits. Requirements

• Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Energy Management, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy market analysis, forecasting, or consulting.
• Proven expertise in quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, and econometrics.
• Proficiency in market analysis software and tools (e.g., Excel, VBA, Python, R, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of energy markets, including supply/demand drivers, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent research, writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with the South African energy market is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Upington, Northern Cape for business purposes.
