Kinetic Communities Consulting Corporation (KC3) in New York, NY, is offering an Energy Equity Marketing & Communications Intern position. You will support outreach, marketing, and stakeholder engagement across clean energy, affordable housing, workforce development, and community initiatives, working about 20 hours per week.

Reporting to the Events & Marketing Manager, you’ll create communications materials, draft newsletters and social posts, translate sustainability topics into accessible

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
• Local to the New York City metropolitan area and able to attend occasional in-person events.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Experience with Canva or similar design tools.
• Commitment to racial equity, housing justice, and environmental justice.

Responsibilities

• Develop marketing, communications, and outreach materials for KC3 programs and events.
• Draft content for newsletters, email campaigns, social media, and presentations.
• Translate topics into clear, accessible messaging for diverse audiences.
• Support communications strategies to raise awareness of KC3’s projects and impact.
• Create visual content using Canva and other graphic design tools.
• Promote community events, workshops, webinars, and stakeholder engagement.
• Participate in events and outreach activities, supporting logistics and follow-up.
• Maintain KC3 marketing templates, branding standards, and resources.
